Due to the latest Covid-19 lockdown restrictions placed on travel companies all of our holiday departures have now been temporarily cancelled, until further notice. We hope to be up and running again in the not too distant future, as soon as the Governnment advise it is safe to do so.

We will be preparing a list of additional holiday departures and adding them to our current 2021 holidays selection. These will be appended to our website in due course, please check back for further information at a later date.

Our responsibility is to ensure the safety of our clients and staff so that clients have the confidence to travel with us again. We have therefore prepared a 'Safe Operation Procedure', which is based on the government guidelines, please see details below.

We would like to thank all of our customers for their support and understanding in these difficult times. We look forward to welcoming you aboard, once again, in the not too distant future.

Safe Operating Procedure for Holidays

The government have now issued new guidelines, albeit with precautions and limited passenger numbers on board. We want to ensure that while COVID 19 restrictions are in place you are still able to fully enjoy your holiday with us.

Throughout this pandemic period, and in this transition as we return to normal operation, it is very important that we all follow some simple guidelines to protect our staff, our passengers and anyone else that we may come into contact with.

Coach Cleaning:

Our current enhanced cleaning procedure includes cleaning of all glass surfaces, disinfectant wiping of dash areas, driver controls and handles and also all handrails, hand grabs, seat belt buckles and armrests.

To ensure your safety we have also:

  • Purchased air purifying systems to add to the air conditioning units which neutralises micro-organisms, germs and allergenic pollen and prevents unpleasant odours.
  • Provide hand sanitiser stations at each entrance/exit which we will require customers to use as they board and exit the vehicle.
  • Purchased a fogging machine which sanitises and deodorises vehicles when combined with special agents that attack and destroy all germs, bacteria, viruses and spores in its path.
  • Purchased sufficient supplies of specialist cleaning chemicals that are effective against Coronavirus.
  • Purchased non-contact thermometers for each coach to facilitate checks on drivers’, staff and passengers before boarding.

How do I protect myself and my fellow passengers?

The following procedures comply with World Health Organisation guidelines and with the latest government guidelines as updated on Tuesday 23rd June 2020.

We can provide assurance and mitigation of some of the concerns you may have; our normal front facing seating arrangements avoids ‘face to face’ proximity and the physical barrier of the high backed seats, plus the use of face coverings or masks will all help to ensure maximum mitigation of the dangers and maximum safety.

  1. When you arrive at your departure point, you will be subject to a temperature check. It is generally accepted that 36.1C to 37.2C is the normal range for our bodies. Passengers with high temperature will be requested not to travel, for the benefit of other passengers.
  2. It is compulsory that you wear a face covering when boarding and during the journey (unless you have a medical exemption), preferably your own; however our staff will also have masks available (however a charge will apply).
  3. You will be asked to board just a few minutes before your departure time, in order to minimise the time that passengers spend on the coach once boarded. Please try to maintain 2 metre social distancing wherever possible, as you gather and when approaching and speaking with our staff.
  4. You will be requested to sanitise your hands prior to boarding. Again, please ensure that you observe social distancing while waiting to board.
  5. Toilet facilities on board the coach will not be available while these measures are in place. However rest assured that no journey will be longer than 2 hours without a comfort stop.
  6. Passengers who live together in the same household, may sit together on a double seat. Where this occurs, the seat opposite, next to the aisle must not be used. The two front double seats immediately behind the driver will unfortunately not be available for use.
  7. On arrival at our destination (or any comfort stop) our staff will exit the coach first and then once they have left the vehicle then all passengers may safely disembark, starting from the front – please continue to observe social distancing while waiting to disembark. During your visit our staff will clean all touch points on the coach we ask that before returning to the coach that you wash your hands and use the hand sanitiser supplied at the boarding point of the coach.
