Day 1 After being picked up from your door and taken to our coach, we travel to Stamford for a leisurely lunch stop before reaching our 4 star Warner hotel in the late afternoon.
Day 2 After breakfast we take you to the excellent Crich National Tranway Village. The museum contains over 60 trams built between 1900 and 1930 and is set within Crich Tramway Village, a period village containing a pub, cafe, old-style sweetshop and tram depots. The museum's collection of trams runs through the village setting with visitors transported one mile out into the local countryside.
Day 3 After a leisurely breakfast we travel to the seaside resort of Minehead for free time before Today is a free day to explore our surroundings and facilities at our Warner Leisure Hotel.
Day 4 After a leisurely breakfast, we make our way to Hardwick Hall, built by Bess of Hardwick, Countess of Shrewsbury. The hall has survived virtually unchanged and houses some of the finest 16th and 17th century embroideries and tapestries. You can also enjoy circular walks around the surrounding parkland with magnificent views. The hall also played the part of Malfoy Manor in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1. After free time for lunch, we enjoy a delicious cream tea on the River Trent.
Day 5 Today we say good-bye to Warners and we head home. We have a mystery stop en-route before we get back to our local area.
